The Kinston Bulldogs are mired in a 25-game losing streak. But, new Head Coach Jason Wambles returns to his alma-mater to help rebuild the program.

Of course, the Bulldogs haven't been real psyched about two straight years of losing. Wambles wants to rebuild their confidence, and start winning some games.

The Dogs open the season at Red Level Thursday August 27th.

"Where I'm coming from, we've been traditionally a third and fourth round football team,” Wambles said. “So, I'm trying to instill what we did therewhere we had success, back to the program where I'm at. Getting the community excited and energetic about the program is what's going to be one of the biggest things. The kids are responding. They're hungry. I think they're tired of it being the way it is. That's where it's going to come from, is from them."
