The Geneva Panthers step into the Countdown to Kickoff spotlight. The Panthers missed the playoffs last season, finishing at 6-4.

But, there were some positive signs for the coach Jeff Williams' squad as they reeled off three straight wins to end the season.

A lot of the key play-makers on offense are back for the panthers this season. Williams says he'll rely heavily on those guys this year.

“I think our strength is going to be our athleticism in our skill positions, Williams said. “We're going to be a little smaller than we've been the last couple of years. We're going to have to be a little more imaginative running the ball. We're not going to be able to just line-up and knock people off the ball. But, we do feel like we've got some kids that can move the rock."

Geneva hosts Rehobeth in the season opener on August 28th.
