OPP -- Five year old Baker Mitchell has myotubular myopathy, but that does not stop him from living a full life.
"He’s a blessing to us big time, but yes he is very rotten," Baker's Mother Emily Mitchell said. "He loves school, he’s got a good teacher and a good class."
In December 2012, Baker and his family got the chance of his lifetime to go to Disney World as part of his Make A Wish Foundation trip.
For families of terminally ill children, it is nearly impossible to go on a vacation because the cost of doctor visits and medical bills add up so quickly.
However, there is a way for people to help grant the wishes of these children.
It takes 26.5 million miles to fund the wishes of Alabama's Wish Kids.
As part of the "Wishes in Flight" campaign, Make A Wish Alabama is asking people to log onto www.alabama.wish.org to learn how to donate their unused air miles.
According to the Make A Wish Website, 90 percent of doctors said they saw improvement in the child's physical health after the trip.
Doctors said Baker would not live past a year. On May 19th, he will celebrate his 6th birthday.
