Auburn is searching for a new defensive backs coach. Phillip Lolley is leaving the sidelines to return to administration at Auburn.

Lolley leaves coaching for the second time. He stepped away from the sidelines from 2004-08, when he was Auburn's Director of NFL Relations. He's also served as the Tigers conditioning coach, secondary coach and cornerbacks coach during his time on the Plains.

Head Coach Gene Chizik is already looking for Lolley's replacement, and an early name linked with the opening is Willie Martinez. Newly-hired Tigers defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder worked with Martinez at Georgia.

This is the third staff change for the Tigers this off-season. Chizik has already hired a new offensive coordinator, Scott Loeffler, and VanGorder as the team's new defensive coordinator. Chizik had no turnover on his staff during his first two years at Auburn.
