Alabama Coach Nick Saban hits the silver screen this weekend with the release of the movie, "The Blind Side."

The Tide coach plays himself as the then LSU coach, recruiting Michael Oher. The movie chronicles Oher's life story.

Oher came from a broken home. He was taken in by a well-to-do family. He eventually played for Ole Miss and then becoming a NFL millionaire.

For Saban, acting was a huge departure from his normal routine. But, even in Hollywood, he had some control over his lines.

Former coaches Lou Holtz, Tommy Tuberville and Phillip Fulmer also had roles in the movie.

Check out Nick Saban’s comments on his acting debut in the attached video.
