Through Lowe's, Gerard Middle School received a $5000 dollar grant.

That money will bring in 350 new books for children.

The school’s Librarian, Alison Holley wrote a short letter to the company telling them why funds were needed for the library.

"Our average, copyright is 1970 for these books and we wanted something more updated that would interest the children in this age group," says Holley.

The books will be in for the children in April.
