Crist visits with students in South Florida
Gov. Charlie Crist is expected to visit with South Florida students and teachers who are back in classrooms for the first day of their new school year.

MIAMI (AP) - Gov. Charlie Crist is expected to visit with South
Florida students and teachers who are back in classrooms for the
first day of their new school year.
Crist is scheduled to appear at Holmes Elementary in Miami on
Monday morning.
It is the first day of school for many students across the state, including more than 600,000 children in South Florida, according to the Miami Herald.
Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp will also be meeting students at two
Tallahassee schools.
