TARRANT, Ala. (AP) - Gov. Bob Riley and State School Superintendent Joe Morton are celebrating an Internet milestone as Alabama has expanded its distance learning program to all public high schools in the state.

Riley and Morton will view ACCESS distance learning classrooms Thursday at Tarrant High School, where students will be learning two foreign languages from teachers in schools in Dothan and Mobile.

ACCESS stands for Alabama Connecting Classrooms, Educators and Students Statewide. It is a video conference and Web-based learning tool that was first introduced in Riley's State of the State Address in 2005.
