Banana Pudding



1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Self Rising Flour
Dash of Salt
2 Cups Milk
4 Large Eggs - Separated
Box Vanilla Wafers
2 Bananas
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Sugar


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Custard :

Mix together first four ingredients and the egg yolks. Cook over medium heat until thickened or first show of a boil.

To assemble pudding:

Layer vanilla wafers and sliced bananas in a dish of choice.
Pour 1/2 of custard over top.



In mixing bowl, beat egg whites until soft peak.
Add 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/4 cup of sugar.
Beat until stiff peaks form
Spoon over layers.

Brown in oven for 10 minutes.
