Louise Child's Corn Casserole

Ingredients

1 (15 oz.) can creamed corn
1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups cooked rice
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a casserole dish. Saute onion in margarine until tender. Add corn, rice, 1 cup cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes. Yield 8 servings.
