Annie Dent's Blueberry Pound Cake
3 cups sugar
3 sticks butter or margarine
1 (8) oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 cups cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup blueberries
Mix butter and sugar together until smooth.
Add one egg at a time to mixture until all six eggs have been added. Beat mixture continuously after adding each egg.
Add cream cheese to mixture and continue beating for about three minutes.
Add salt to cake flour. Sift flour and salt mixture three separate times. Set 1/4 cup of the dry ingredients aside and add the rest of the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix well.
Sprinkle the remaining flour and salt mixture over the blueberries. Add to the batter and beat slowly for 1 minute.
Bake in a greased and floured Bundt cake pan at 350 degrees for 11/2 hours.
