1 pkg. angel food cake mix
1 lb. carton whipped topping
5 tbsp powdered sugar
1 pt. strawberries
4 tbsp. flour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease or spray a 14x10x10 ½ inch baking pan. Line with wax paper.
Follow package directions for preparing cake mix. Spread batter in pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Do not over bake-just firm when you touch it.
Sprinkle flour on clean towel and turn cake on towel.
Peel off wax paper—
Roll cake in towel, very gently (2 or 3 rolls). Turn seam side down and cool for 15-20 minutes.
Wash and trim berries-(save 7-8 whole berries for top garnish).
Slice remaining berries, add powdered sugar.
Save approximately 1 ½ cups whip topping for outside of cake.
Fold sliced berries into remaining topping.
Carefully unroll cake.
Spread whipped topping and berries on cake. (Leave ½ to 1 inch around edges.)
Reroll, place cake on plate, seam side down.
Frost with remaining topping and garnish with berries.
