1 loaf French bread
1 8 oz. container pineapple cream cheese
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
Spray a 13x9 inch glass baking with cooking spray. Spread cream cheese on 12 slices of bread. Top with remaining 12 slices of bread. Place sandwiches on baking dish.
Beat eggs, milk, ¼ cup sugar, salt and cinnamon until well blended.
Pour over bread in dish. Let stand 4 to 5 minutes. Turn sandwiches over. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Chop 1 cup of strawberries in a glass bowl, gently stir on sugar over strawberries. Refrigerate overnight.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Drizzle melted butter over bread. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Slice remaining strawberries. Stir into chilled strawberry mixture.
