Alaga Syrup Pistachio Dessert Sauce
1 1/2 cups Alaga Original cane flavored syrup
1/2 cup Alaga Butter Maple flavored pancake syrup in Bear Bottle
2 tsp. Vanilla
Dash of salt
3/4 stick of butter
1.) Combine all ingredients, bring almost to a boil, simmer approximately 15 minutes stirring well as the mixture cooks.
2.) The Syrup mixture should be thick and not runny when it is ready to use.
3.) Pour the Alaga sauce over any cake, ice cream or dessert which can be accompanied be a rich sauce!
4.) Add pistachios, peanuts or pecans, if you prefer, on top of the sauce once you have poured it on your dessert.
5.) The nuts add texture and a contrasting taste!-
