Miss Kitty's Crunchy Peanut Butter Cake


1 yellow cake mix
1/4 C. crunchy peanut butter
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 1/3 c. water
3 eggs

1/4 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. light brown sugar
3/4 c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped
1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/2 stick butter, softened


Place cake mix, water, peanut butter, oil and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Blend for about 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Pour into oiled and floured baking sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

Prepare the topping by mixing all ingredients except dry roasted peanuts. Spread topping over warm cake. Place cake in oven under the broiler until topping is bubbly and brown, not over one minute. Remove from oven. Sprinkle dry peanuts over the top of the cake.
