Fire Crackers
Ingredients
1 pound box saltine crackers
2 cups canola oil
2 tablespoons dry Ranch dressing mix
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
Wisk together in a large dishpan, the oil, Ranch dressing and pepper.
Add crackers, toss with hands to coat every 20 minutes for 2 hours.
Pour onto paper towels. Let drain about 30 minutes.
Store in airtight can.
Great with soups and chowders, assorted cheeses and cheese spreads or as a snack cracker.
Yield: Approximately 150 crackers
