Tiger Bait Bars



  • 1 cup unsifted all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. Vanilla extract.
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 (14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup peanut butter flavored chips, or 1/.2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped peanuts or cashews
  • 1 (30z) can chow mien noodles


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and soda. Add 1 tsp. Vanilla and cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Press firmly in bottom of ungreased 13x9 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes until lightly brown.

    2. Top with marshmallows and bake 2 minutes or until marshmallows begin to puff.

    3. In a double boiler, heat condensed milk, peanut butter chips. And cook
    until thickened 6 to 8 minutes.

    4. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over
    marshmallows. Chill. Cut into squares. Store in cool place.
