Pot Roast With Gravy



  • 1 (3-4 lb.) chuck roast
  • 1 pkg. onion mushroom soup mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • Steak sauce


    Place roast in a skillet with 4-5 tbsp of oil. Brown lightly on all sides. Place in preheated slow cooker. Put 2 tbsp. flour in 2 cups water, mix. Put into cooker with roast. Add all other ingredients and cook until tender. Just before roast gets done, you may want to add vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, etc.
