Nell’s Pecan Pie by Nell Chapman

Ingredients


  • 2 beaten eggs
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • ½ cup lukewarm water
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup light Karo Syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

In large bowl, beat two eggs. Ad brown sugar and salt, mix well. Add Karo Syrup and mix well. Stir in vanilla flavoring. Add flour to ½ cup of lukewarm water; stir until smooth. Add to mixture and blend well. Stir in pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
