Key Lime Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon Cake Mix
  • 1 small box Lime Jell-O
  • 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup Key Lime Juice



    Icing



  • 1 box powered sugar
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese – room temperature
  • 1 stick butter – room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla



    Mix all ingredients together in mixer until fluffy. Spread onto completely cooled cake.

    Directions

    (1) Mix first 5 ingredients; pour into 3 round greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes.



    (2) While layers are hot or warm, drizzle glaze of powdered sugar and lime juice over layers.



    Icing:

    (3) Mix all ingredients together in mixer until fluffy. Spread onto completely cooled cake.
