Lemon Chess Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. Cornmeal
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. lemon-juice
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell

    Directions

    1.) Combine sugar, flour, cornmeal and salt. Add butter, lemon juice, and
    milk.

    2.) Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.

    3.) Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

    4.) Yields one 9-inch pie.
