Sour-Cream Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp. Margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups whole pecans

    Directions

    1.) Pierce pastry shell thoroughly with fork.

    2.) Bake in 400 degree oven for 8 minutes.

    3.) Cool.

    4.) In medium bowl, stir together eggs and sour cream until smooth.

    5.) Stir in sugar, corm syrup, margarine, vanilla and salt until
    well mixed.

    6.) Stir in pecans.

    7.) Pour into pre-baked shell. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, or until filling is slightly puffed but set about 1 inch from edge.

    8.) Cool.
