2 cups flour
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
1 tsp. paprika
2 cups buttermilk
1. Preheat oil to 350°. Clean chicken in cold water and pat dry.
2. Mix together flour, salt, pepper, garlic and paprika. Season selected chicken with salt, pepper, garlic blend.
3. Dredge through flour mixture, then through buttermilk, then dredge through flour mixture once more covering chicken completely before placing into preheated oil.
4. Deep fry for approximately 20-25 minutes depending on size and amount of chicken placed in fryer. Check internal temperature 160°.
Use batter also for chicken tenders and vegetables such as deep-fried mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, cauliflower and broccoli.
