1-2 lbs. top round or sirloin steak
5 tbsp. oil or butter
1 medium onion, sliced or cut in wedges
2 bell peppers, cut into strips
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
1 can beef gravy - or beef broth
1 can stewed tomatoes
salt, pepper, flour
Cut steak in thin sliced portions. Mix salt, pepper and flour. Dip steak slices in flour mixture.
Put oil in skillet - medium heat-brown meat.
In crock pot, add meat, onions, peppers, tomatoes and beef gravy.
Cook on high until all ingredients are hot. Reduce heat to low. Cook until meat in tender.
Serve with rice, noodles, potatoes, etc.
