Pumpkin Butterscotch Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips



    Topping



  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup milk (cool)
  • 2 cups powder sugar

    Directions

    1. Mix together pumpkin, vanilla, flour and salt; blend until well mixed then add remaining ingredients except butterscotch chips.



    2. Mix together well then add butterscotch chips and fold together.



    3. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes.



    Topping



    1. Mix brown sugar and butter in sauce pan until comes to a boil, then add 1/3 cup milk and let cool.



    2. Add powdered sugar and stir together well. Spread atop cookies.
