Olive and Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon tepid water
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 oz. yeast
  • 3 oz. sourdough starter
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup green olives, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped

    Directions

    1. Combine water, salt, sugar and yeast.



    2. Add sourdough; let stand five minutes.



    3. Slowly add flour, knead until not sticky,



    4. Let dough stand 10-15 minutes.



    5. Cut into loaves, brush with warm water.



    6. Let dough rise again for 10 minutes.



    7. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
