Sesame Sausage Rolls



  • 4 green onions-finely chopped
  • 3 slices read-crust removed
  • 11 oz. Each ground beef and sausage meat
  • 1 tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. Dried mixed herbs
  • 1 small bunch flat-leaf parsley-finely chopped
  • 4 sheets ready made puff pastry
  • 1 egg-beaten lightly
  • Sesame seeds


    1. Dip bread in small bowl of cold water; remove immediately. Discard water.
    Combine onion, bread, beef, sausage meat, paste, herbs and parsley. Mix

    2. Cut pastry sheets in half lengthways and place equal amounts of filling down
    the center of each sheets. Roll pastry to encase mixture. Place each roll
    seam side down and brush top with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cut
    into 8 pieces.

    3. Place on an oiled baking tray and bake in a hot oven (450 degrees) for about
    15 minutes or until browned.

    Serve hot with tomato sauce (ketchup).
