Simple Salsa
Have fun and use your imagination in creating this great salsa.
Ingredients
2 lbs. tomatoes
1 medium onion, diced
2 clove garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
1 chili pepper, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 Tbsp. lime juice
Salt and pepper
Directions
1. Seed and dice the tomatoes.
2. Add all ingredients together and allow to sit in a bowl for about an hour.
3. Serve with chips or any other way you please.
Note:
this recipe is the beginning of a wonderful experience. Use it as is or consider the following:
Roast the peppers and garlic before using.
Use things like Tomatillos and other vegetables in your salsas.
Use green, red or Vidalia onions.
Add as many or as few hot peppers as you can stand.
Use different colored peppers for color (yellow, black or purple).
Serve your salsa with scrambled eggs, fish or poultry -- not just chips.
Add other garden vegetables such as diced zucchini.
