Martha’s Salad with Walnuts


Romaine Lettuce
Broccoli Florets
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
½ stick butter
½ cup red wine vinegar
Raman Noodles
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon soy sauce


Crush noodles (you do not use the seasoning packet in this recipe). Saute noodles and walnuts in the butter.

Toss lettuce, broccoli florets, noodles and walnuts together. Sometimes I add some spinach leaves (to make it healthier).

Combine vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, sugar and soy sauce. Mix well. Pour over salad just before serving.
