Apple Cobbler Pie

Ingredients

  • ½ stick butter, ½ cup flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup coconut and pecans
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. baking powder


Directions

  • Pare and slice 8 apples.
  • Cook in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes.
  • Pour water off apples into a bowl
  • Mix ½ cup of water, ½ cup sugar and juice of a small lemon in a small bowl.
  • Melt 1½ stick of butter, fold into mixture.
  • Place apples in a partially baked deep pie crust.
  • Pour mixture over apples. This will make 2 pies.
  • Top with topping Topping Flake together: Put on top of pie and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
