Apple Cobbler Pie

- ½ stick butter, ½ cup flour
- A pinch of salt
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup coconut and pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Pare and slice 8 apples.
Cook in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes.
Pour water off apples into a bowl
Mix ½ cup of water, ½ cup sugar and juice of a small lemon in a small bowl.
Melt 1½ stick of butter, fold into mixture.
Place apples in a partially baked deep pie crust.
Pour mixture over apples. This will make 2 pies.
Top with topping
Topping Flake together: Put on top of pie and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
