There were more than 4,000 votes cast Tuesday for the Houston County Commission district 4 run-off between Phillip Forrester and Richard Talley.

4,129 votes to be exact but they did not tally up for Richard Talley;
275 votes short of Phillip Forrester. Once again he holds on to be your Houston County District 4 commissioner.

Upon winning Forrester responded to Talley calling him "Inaccessible"
and what he plans to do about it moving forward,

"Make my rounds to my constituents. They call in then I speak to the situation and check it out first hand before I get in touch with any department head then turn it over to them."

Forrester will face Democrat Paul Eubanks in the November general election.

    ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT I HOPE THAT NO ONE VOTES FOR ANY ONE THAT IS NOT FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF HOUSTON CO. THERE ARE SO MANY OFFICIALS IN HOUSTON THAT ARE NOT WANTING WHATS BEST FOR THEIR COUNTY OR WHATS BEST FOR THE STATE, I HOPE EVERY ONE THAT VOTES TAKES A LONG HARD LOOK AT WHAT WILL BE THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO EMPLOYMENT AND REVENUE NOT ONLY FOR HOUSTON CO BUT FOR THE STATE OF ALABAMA AND COUNTRY CROSSINGS IS ONE THING THAT WOULD BE A GOOD THING FOR ALL OF US EVEN IF WE NEVER GO THERE
