WASHINGTON (AP) - Democrats and Republicans alike are posting
roughly equal hauls for their campaign committees.

Both sides are also claiming that the divisive health care
overhaul helped them motivate hardcore supporters heading toward
November's elections.

The Democratic National Committee has $14.7 million in the bank
and owes some $3.4 million to lenders. The Republican National
Committee has $11.4 million in the bank and no debts.

During March, the same reports showed the Democrats' House
campaign raised $9.7 million to the Republicans' House committee's
$8 million. However, the Democrats have $26 million in the bank to
the GOP's $10 million.
