How do the Candidates feel about electronic Bingo?

Carothers:

“I will not hang this bill up in Montgomery that we will get this bill out, send it down here and we will vote on it.”

Lee:

“I would be for a vote to make sure that comes to an end.”

And what is the best way to bring jobs to the wiregrass?

Lee:

“We lost out on some opportunities by not being able to supply water to businesses and we need to make that happen.”

Carothers:

“Government cannot create jobs but it can create the environment for jobs and what we can do as legislatures is pass along tax incentives that create growth.”

And how do we fix our ill funded public school system?

Carothers:

“100 percent in support of a vote on a Georgia style education lottery its quite simple that we can't have a Cadillac schools based on a Pinto budget.”

Lee:

“At a rolling budget or previous year budgeting and what that means is the years we have excess.....put it toward the years that have a low tax that comes in.”

So who should the people pick November 2nd?

Paul lee says his experience is worth your vote

“Sony....on the medical board and as a City commission here.”

Merritt Carothers on the other hand says his opponents voting record has much to be desired,

“There is only one true conservative running in this race my opponent’s voting track record stands for what it is and that is raising taxes and fees on the people of House District 86.”

Paul Lee is a member of the Dothan city Commission.

Merritt Carothers currently works as a weapons system technician on Fort Rucker.
