NEW YORK (AP) - After an uproar by the subjects of its canned
interviews, Sarah Palin's first TV special has aired on Fox News
Channel.

During "Real American Stories" on Thursday, the former Alaska
governor and vice presidential candidate presented uplifting profiles of mostly everyday Americans overcoming adversity and
helping others.

Earlier in the week, actor-singer LL Cool J had complained that Fox News planned to use an interview he said he gave to someone else two years ago. The network consented to cut his segment from the show.

Country singer Toby Keith appeared, as announced. But his publicist had said he was similarly caught by surprise on learning that his year-old interview had been included.
