While I don't agree with everything Bobby Bright has to say or believe in, I at least see him as someone who is reasonable and amenable to rationaldiscussion. Ms. Roby seems determined to vote along strict party lines regardless of reason or rational arguement. Strict party line voting started this downturn we currently find ourselves in (which started in the previous administration, remember)and to continue to do so can only make things worse. Mr. Bright is willing to break party lines to support what he believes is best for this district, this state, and this country.....not just his party.

Bright needs to man up and actually take a clear stand instead of pandering to voters. My vote goes to Martha Roby. She has clear convictions and a conservative vision. We need that in Washington now, more than ever.

Bright is not being sincere about Obamacare. He runs ads saying he will repeal it then he says things like this to national public radio (just this week): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf7oJeNK2zw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPMbbX-mz_E Bright always talks out of both sides of his mouth trying to get votes. we need a leader not a fence straddler. we need jobs not food stamps. we need a Republican majority in Congress not Bright and his Democrat majority controlled by Pelosi. Things have got to change.

Bright = same old Congress we had the last 2 years. We need a change! Roby gets my vote.

I watched the debate and Bright flat out lied about Roby's position on the U.S. Department of Education. I also received a smear piece in the mail from the Democratic party saying the same thing. Roby is not calling for a cut in federal funding to local schools but is calling for that money to be administered by the state and local eduaction organizations instead of career civil servants in DC. Give me a break Bobby - stop trying to manipulate and scare voters.

A vote for Bobby Bright is a vote to keep the Democrats in power. His positions seems to change with the wind but a vote for him stays the same...it keeps a Democrat majority. I will vote Republican.

Good debate and a good choice of questions. I was unsure of my vote but after watching the debate I will be voting for the Republican candidate, Martha Roby. She was well spoken, energetic and believes in the conservative principles that truly represent our part of the State.

I will be voting for Martha Roby after watching Bobby Bright try and defend Obamacare. He refuses to sign a discharge petition on the matter. About 175 of his fellow House Members have signed the petition but he refuses to do so. His words are thus hollow. (and to the comment below from "Joe An"....if you think the Republican party is "sorry".....I think we have all seen what the Democrats in Congress have done for the last two years and the direction they want to take the country. If you want more of that then sure...vote for Democrat Bobby Bright. I'll stick with Republican Martha Roby all day long)

I will be voting for Bright after seeing this. Martha Roby is a puppet for the national republican party. She is just following their sorry lead and saying what they tell her to.

I just watched the debate on line. I will vote for Martha Roby as she seems to have a clear, consistent and conservative vision and message. We need a different direction in Congress and Roby will help us get there.
