ATHENS, Ala. (AP) - Alabama's candidates for governor are getting ready for their final debate.

Democrat Ron Sparks and Republican Robert Bentley face off Tuesday night at Athens State University. The debate comes one week before the general election. The gubernatorial debate will be followed by a debate by the candidates in the 5th Congressional District, Republican Mo Brooks and Democrat Steve Raby.

The debate's sponsors include the university, WHNT-TV and The Huntsville Times.

    i think it's past the point we need to FIRE them all from the local lvl all the way to the national one including all the judges, EVERYONE who draws a govt paycheck! Then hit the zoos and collect all the monkeys and let them run it all. They certainly COULDNA'T DO ANY WORSE!

    Bottom line: A vote for Bobby Bright is a vote for Obama. Bright helps keep the Democrat majority in the House of Reps.
