Houston county commissioners are working to clear up confusion at the polls.
At today's meeting, they discussed adopting a resolution ... Supporting amendment one.
Commission chairman mark culver says the amendment corrects a technical problem that could increase costs for local agencies like fire departments and hospitals.
“Amendment 1 is simply a technical issue it doesn't really impact anybody as an individual citizen it impacts some entities it's just a technical correction to a mistake that was made in a previous legislation,” said Mark Culver, Houston County Commission Chairman.
Culver went on to say commissioners request to support resolutions ... Because amendments are often confusing and difficult to put into context.
He says the commission will only support those they agree are best for the county.
