BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Alabama Citizens for Life has endorsed
several Republicans for statewide office, including Robert Bentley
for governor.

The political action committee of the anti-abortion group also announced support for Kay Ivey for lieutenant governor, Luther Strange for attorney general, and John McMillan for agriculture commissioner.

Its national counterpart, the National Right to Life Committee, has thrown its support to Republican U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby and five of Alabama's incumbent House members, Democrat Bobby Bright and Republicans Robert Aderholt, Spencer Bachus, Joe Bonner and Mike Rogers. It also endorsed Republican Mo Brooks for the openseat in the 5th Congressional District.
