The fund to compensate victims of last year's gulf coast oil spill has paid out $5 billion.
$20 billion was set aside for the recovery.
The Gulf Coast Claims Facility took over the claims process from BP last August.
It's received nearly one-million claims from 50 states and 36 countries. Thirty-eight percent of those claims have been approved, most to victims in Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas.
