Jimmy Donaldson Retires After 25 Years

Jimmy Donaldson, Veterans Service Officer for the State of Alabama Dept. of Veterans Affairs, is retiring after 25 years of service.

Donaldson is a Vietnam Veteran and has served the Veterans of Alabama State well. According to the viewer who submitted this information, many people who have learned of Donaldson's retirement have become teary eyed as they spoke of how Donaldson has helped their family.

Donaldson is a long time resident of Samson, Alabama. He beams with pride when he speaks of his wife Lisa and his children. He is excited to be moving into retirement in order to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

On May 15, there will be a gathering at the Geneva County Courthouse District Courtroom. The event will begin at 2:30 p.m.
