Students Sickened by Pesticide on Bus

About 20 Florida students became sick this morning (Friday) on the bus ride to school.

Rescue crews met the students at the elementary school in Lake County, Florida.

Authorities say the kids were coughing and had watery eyes.

According to deputies, the bus driver is responsible for bringing a pesticide called Malathion on the bus.

Officials decontaminated the children and adults by washing them down with hoses.

I read this is for treating lice and the mosquito problem. Also this stuff has some bad side affects. I don't know what the bus driver was thinking. How come people don't go on line and look up what stuff is before they expose other people to it ? The very word Pesticide and Children shouldn't be together.
