The Department of Mental Health has informed the Vivian B. Adams School that there may be changes, specifically in the way they provide service to their individuals.
The school's case managers may no longer work there because of a conflict of interest.
"Case managers may have to work some where else or for another agency-provide the services to our individuals-which we feel like would be detrimental to our individuals because of the fact that our case managers go over and beyond for the people that we serve," says Executive Director, Hannah Parker.
Parker also says the school hasn't been given any dates or deadlines yet concerning possible changes.
