Florida Education Commissioner Tony Bennett is best known for losing his job in Indianapolis.
He was at one time Indiana’s Elected Education Commissioner lost his bid for re-election and then was hired by Gov. Rick Scott.
Critics are now focusing on an event that happened during Bennett’s Tenure in Indiana.
It turns out he intervened to give a ‘C’ Graded Charter School an ‘A’ grade. The founder of that school had donated six-figures to Bennett’s election campaign.
Today, two top House Democrats are holding a press conference to question just what Bennett’s involvement is with Florida School grades.
Last week, the number of ‘D’ and ‘F’ graded elementary and middle schools went up substantially.
