ASHFORD, AL -- Ashford High School students got a first hand look at the effects of drunk driving on Thursday morning.
The Houston County coroner, plus local fire departments and an ambulance service held an accident reenactment. The event was held to demonstrate what happens when people drink and drive.
Ashford High students are taking the prom promise, which is sponsored by the prevention project. Prom promise encourages students to pledge they won't drink and drive on prom night.
WTVY's Victoria Rosa will have more on Ashford's prom promise tonight on News 4.
