Enterprise Prayer Walk

It’s been nearly six-months since a deadly tornado claimed the lives of eight Enterprise High School students. A prayer walk was held over the weekend to commutate their lives and the future lives of children in the school district.

Grandparents, parents and children would walk through the hallways of College Street Elementary School.

They prayed for the teachers, students, and administrators similar scenes could be found across Coffee County, the tragedy of March first was not far from anyone's minds.

"We are praying for the teachers, administrators, and everyone involved in the teaching of our children. Pray for them and their belief in Jesus Christ," said Kay Clark of Coffee Co. Baptist Assoc.

Several organizers of the prayer walk feel that there's a national effort through the courts' to remove any mention of god from the public school system.

Many churches throughout Coffee County helped put the prayer walk together and organizers say they were happy with the turnout.
