High School Diplomas

The state school board is expected to change high school graduation requirements this week to allow students with certain disabilities to get their high school diplomas.

Alabama Interim Superintendent of Education Joe Morton will recommend that the board change its rule that students have to pass all sections of Alabama’s high school graduation exam to graduate.

The board will decide on approving the change during a board meeting on Thursday.
