TROY – Troy University’s Advancement and External Relations Division has been honored by a pair of professional organizations for its communications and marketing efforts.
“We are humbled and honored by the recognition given by our peers both inside and out of the educational field for our efforts to tell the TROY story,” said Dr. John Schmidt, Senior Vice Chancellor of Advancement and External Relations.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to deliver the TROY message and this recognition confirms the talent, creativity and dedication of our advancement team.”
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education has awarded a Circle of Excellence Silver Award to the Department of Marketing and Communication for its “Interpreter Training Advertisement.”
This year, 701 institutions from around the world submitted more than 3,163 entries in the Circle of Excellence awards program.
The awards are judge by both professional peers from schools, colleges and universities and by professionals outside the field of education.
CASE is the largest international association of educational institutions, serving more than 3,300 universities, colleges, schools, and related organizations in 54 countries.
In addition to the CASE award, the University was recognized with seven Awards of Excellence in the 15th Annual Communicator Awards, including an Award of Excellence for its “Troy University Magazine,” the University’s alumni publication.
Also garnering Awards of Excellence was:
“Lessons,” a publication of the College of Education, in the Educational Institution category
“Find Your Future Here,” a brochure for the College of Arts and Sciences in the Educational category
“Masters at Work” in the Advertising Campaign category
“Building Beyond Boundaries,” a brochure in the Fund Raising category
“Measure of Success” alumni commercials in the Campaign-Promotional/Branding category
“Anyone. Anywhere.,” an athletics board in the Billboard category
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.
