Education Prize Patrol

Susan Knight, Glenda Sanders and Audra Shimoda will receive $1,405 for their school wide program for young students to help improve listening skills.

It's called Hey Listen To This. The program is designed to help improve processing key words and phrases for young students.

And at Dothan High, two teachers will receive $1,500. Janet Ballard Bradley will create a balancing act for the school.

It will involve upgrading the physics, consumer chemistry and physical science laboratory. Patricia Ball will also be working on the project using some new high tech equipment.

And finally, Jane Belsches at Hidden Lake gets $500 for a program challenging fourth and fifth graders to have lunch with their books.
