Headland Elementary School students graduated from the Drug Abuse Resistance Program also known as D.A.R.E.
D.A.R.E. aims to keep kids away from illegal drugs, gangs, and violent behavior.
Students received medals and certificates for their accomplishments through the 10-week course.
"It gives them some type of leadership in our program, in our communities, and it shows that they can go out in the community and help other kids that may be involved in drug use," says Mayor Ray Marler of Headland.
A total of 156 students graduated.
