Dothan City School's former Supt., Dr. Leon Hobbs, has accepted a new job as associate superintendent for Pinellas County Schools in Florida.
He will be paid more than 100-thousand dollars per year.
Dothan City Schools will continue to pay Dr. Hobbs $131,000 a year for the next three years.
He will also continue to receive his benefits as a result of the agreement made in July between him and the school board.
Pinellas County Schools are the 7th largest school district in the state of Florida and are among the top 25 in the nation.
